Nothing can compare with the effect an original painting has on its viewer. If you like a particular work of art on my website, chances are you will love it when you experience it in person. The individual brush strokes, the luminosity of the surface, the grain of the canvas, and just knowing that you have the only painting in the world like it, all contribute to the appeal of owning an original painting. Each painting in my collection is a one-of-a-kind piece of art that can enhance your home or office and satisfy your aesthetic needs, as well as an investment for the future.

I take great care to ensure that the materials I use in my paintings are compatible and used according to manufacturer’s instructions to preserve the longevity of the artwork. All paintings are executed on archival quality stretched canvas and mounted in quality wood frames, ready for hanging. Instructions for handling, hanging and storage of these fine art originals are provided with your purchase.

Paintings that are available for purchase appear in my Gallery Portfolio. Select a collection of paintings and click on the thumbnail view of a painting that interests you -- the purchase price will be shown along with an enlarged image of the painting. Please note that prices are subject to change at any time before an order is placed.

Paypal Account Purchases

You can pay for your purchase through PayPal even if you don't have an account set up! Simply click on the Buy Now button under the painting of your choice and you will be directed to a secure PayPal site where you will be prompted to sign in or create an account. Please note that purchases made through PayPal will be shipped to your PayPal confirmed address only.

Check or Money Order Purchases
To purchase a painting by check or money order, simply click on the link that appears below the painting of your choice and you will be directed to an invoice request form. After you submit the form, you will be sent an order invoice. You are not obligated to complete the purchase until your payment is made. Shipment will take place after your check clears.

Shipping and Handling
Items will be shipped within seven business days (usually less) from the time your payment is received, except in the case of checks, when the check clears. A shipping and handling fee will be added to your purchase and will appear on your PayPal transaction page (before you submit payment)or on your order invoice if you are paying by check or money order. Paintings are wrapped in foam or bubble-wrap and packaged in heavy-duty, cardboard boxes that include stiffening boards to prevent damage. The package will require a signature upon delivery to ensure receipt of the artwork. Once your painting is shipped, I will send you an email with a tracking number so that you can check its progress during transit.

Sales Tax
Sales tax of 5% will be added for Maryland residents only.

Satisfaction Guaranteed
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase of an original painting or a print, the purchase price will be fully refunded to you if it is returned within three days of receipt in its original condition. Please note that shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable. Purchases made through PayPal are covered under PayPal's Buyer Complaint Policy. Returns
To make a return, please notify me at art@dianablake.net of your intention to return the painting, rewrap it in its original packaging, and send the painting back. For your protection, please obtain a tracking number and insure your package for the full purchase price since a refund cannot be issued if the painting is damaged or lost. A refund will be issued within 7 business days or less upon receipt of the returned painting in its original condition.
